Viewee is a dashboard builder app that allows users to monitor local devices providing a Modbus interface. It communicates with these devices directly within the local network, ensuring that the monitoring data remains within the user's control and secure from unauthorized access. Users create the dashboard by adding sensors, which retrieve and display Modbus register values. The values are polled frequently and displayed on the dashboard.
The Viewee app communicates with Modbus devices directly within the local network. While we have taken measures to ensure the integrity and safety of data communication, we cannot guarantee that the app's use will not cause any issues or damage to the Modbus devices. Users are solely responsible for the proper functioning and maintenance of their Modbus devices. Any damage or malfunction that may arise from using the Viewee app with Modbus devices is the sole responsibility of the user.
No personal data is collected or shared outside the app. The app only collects Modbus register values from local devices and processes them within the app for display on the dashboard.
The collected Modbus data is used solely for real-time monitoring purposes. No other use of the collected data is intended.
No data is shared with third parties. All data remains on the user's device.
Industry-standard encryption techniques are employed. All data is securely stored at rest on the user's device.
Prompt notification of data breaches will be provided. All necessary steps will be taken to mitigate the impact of data breaches. Law enforcement will be cooperated with to investigate and prosecute any unauthorized access to user data.
Data is retained only as long as necessary. Once no longer needed, it is deleted from the user's device.
No consent is required for data collection since no personal data is collected. Users can uninstall the app at any time to stop using it and prevent further collection of data.
Viewee is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.
Updated Privacy Policy versions will be displayed on app startup. Users will be required to review and accept the updated policy before continuing to use the app.
